Cube Entertainment artists promote crime prevention among teens @ 4:49 AM
Artists from Cube Entertainment recently took part in a project with the Korean National Police Agency to create a series of video clips aimed to promote crime prevention amongst teens.
A variety of possible scenarios were acted out by the members from B2ST, 4minute and G.NA on what to expect and react when they happen.

Key’s vest and Jonghyun’s T-shirt: Love It or Hate It? @ 4:46 AM
Celebrity airport fashion is always eye-catching, but these two SHINee boys sure know how to make you look twice!
As they were making their way to Paris for the “SM Town Live in Paris” concerts, SHINee’s Key and Jonghyun were snapped in these interesting printed tops. Key was seen in a black zip-up vest splashed with white polka dots, while Jonghyun was seen in a bright T-shirt with a zigzag print.
Key’s unconventional vest is right on point – polka dots made their comeback this spring/summer season with both guys and girls. Though it may be trendy at the moment, I’m not a huge fan of polka dots on guys in general. The bottom line is, I wouldn’t want to see my boyfriend sporting a dotted vest!
On the other hand, Jonghyun’s T-shirt may be loud and obnoxious at first, but a second glance had me actually liking it! If he were to wear any other shirt, he would look no different than the average person on the street. It’s the colors and print of this T-shirt that really help kick up his casual fashion to the next level.

Super Junior appointed ambassadors of ‘Seoul Summer Sale 2011′ @ 2:55 AM
On June 17th, the members of Super Junior attended the opening ceremony for the ‘2011 Seoul Summer Sale‘, where they were appointed as its ambassadors. The group was represented by Sungmin, Ryeowook, Eunhyuk, Leeteuk, Shindong, and Yesung.
In a survey conducted earlier this year among foreigners, Super Junior clinched an overwhelming 76% of the votes when asked which celebrities should represent the Seoul Summer Sale.
The event was originally created in 2008 under the name “Seoul Grand Sale” in an effort to accommodate increasing tourism. Seoul has become a shopping mecca for tourists, many of whom are attracted to the country due to the Hallyu wave. The newly renamed “Seoul Summer Sale” will last 38 days (June 24th – July 31st), and is meant to promote the high quality and competitive pricing of the city’s shopping centers.
The mayor of Seoul, Oh Se Hoon, noted in his address, “Super Junior is a group that is not only popular in Asia, but even in Europe as well. I hope we all, including Super Junior, do our parts in representing Seoul beyond what Hallyu has to offer.” He also claimed that this year’s Seoul Summer Sale will be critical in attracting more tourists to the city.
B2ST talks about being compared to 2PM & Big Bang @ 2:51 AM
B2ST has been named the strongest competitor for Big Bang and 2PM thanks to their recent streak of success, but the boys themselves don’t think so.
In an interview with E Daily, the members of B2ST opened up about their competition and the direction of their career. The boys began, “We’ve been really happy lately, and have even begun wondering whether we’ve ever received such love since our debut.”
On 2PM and Big Bang, they revealed, “A lot of people compare us to Big Bang and 2PM and say that we’re at the height of our fame. Although we feel good hearing that, it’s also scary. We honestly think that it’s too early for us to hear such praise.”
They continued, “If we’re already at the height of our fame, then there’s no way to go but down. We still think we have a long road left and promise to work hard at everything as if it was our first time.”
B2ST will also be going on an Asian tour soon after their Japanese promotions. Countries include Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and China.
Cube Entertainment said, “Due to the requests made by fans in each country, we’ve decided to create a fan-meeting. Fans can consider it a tour concert in style.”
70,000 fans sign up for T-ara’s debut showcase in Japan! @ 2:49 AM
As previously reported, T-ara will be holding a Japanese showcase at the AX Hall in Shibuya on July 5th, and it’s been revealed that over 70,000 fans have submitted request forms to attend!
Only 1,500 fans will be invited, so fans will be up against some fierce competition. J-ROCK, their label, has revealed plans of promoting T-ara as actresses, MCs, singers, and movie stars. As such, fans can expect an explosive debut coming from the T-ara girls in the coming months.
Ahead of their Japanese debut, however, is their Korean “Roly-Poly” comeback on July 1st, so stay tuned for more updates.
IU to release new album in September + holds first fan meeting! @ 2:47 AM
Singer IU commemorated her 1004th day since her debut with her first fan meeting.
On June 18th, IU opened her fan meeting “It’s a ‘Good Day’ with IU” at the AX Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. IU confessed,
“Because it is my first time meeting my fans upclose, it is true that I am worrying… When they first started talking about a fan meeting at work, I got really worried. The reason is that in a short time I have to show a different side of me. I heard there were 1090 seats of totally my fans, my side, I’m nervous and happy because it is my first time being with [only] people who like me.“
When IU was asked with regards to it being her 1004th day, she said,
“I don’t know what to say… There were hard times and there were happy times. Overall it was quite comfortable and I’m glad that I spent the last 1004 days without any big complications.“
IU debuted in 2008 and was noted for her vocal talent and musical sensitivity. At the same time, her cute appearance made her one of the nation’s little sisters.
IU expressed her gratitude and regretful heart to her fans that she met up-close for the first time. She said,
“I am so thankful when fans remember my anniversary’s that even I can’t remember. Also, I was moved by the songbook and scrapbooks I’ve received of my activities thus far. Because I am a solo singer, there is much less fandom than for a group. So when I go to a venue with a lot of singers, I feel sorry when my fans only get a few tickets. I often think that I need to work harder to get my fans more seats at these concerts.“ She also revealed details regarding her next album saying,
“My new album will be a full-length album. It may take a while because I’m planning to include some of my own songs. I think I will be able to meet with you all with a new album in September.“
As this was IU’s first fan meeting, there were a variety of events prepared for ther 1,000 fans. Also, all profits from the fan meeting is planned to be donated, making this event have a more meaningful.

MBC’s Music Core is back once again with yet another fun and exciting show!
Besides the usual stages, B2ST, Heo Young Saeng and 5dolls had their respective goodbye stages, while f(x) and B1A4 begun follow-up promotions. Elsewhere, 4MEN performed their second title song “I Love You” from their comeback album.
With Minho and Onew away with SHINee in London for their “Japan Debut” showcase and Suzy performing with miss A in Jakarta (Indonesia) for FantastiKPOP Festival 2011, Yoseob and Doojoon continued as special MCs for the second week running alongside Jiyeon. Boyfriend’s Kwangmin and Youngmin also had their MC moments as reported before.

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS :D @ 7:13 AM
YAY! I just came back home from Universal Studios! SUPER AWESOME! :D Photo spam time ^_^ Ok this is just a random life-size shuttle-cork i saw at AMK hub Snapping away while queing for tickets The popular photo taking place YAY finally entered! :D Madagasca in USS random photo taken while queing for a ride More randoms while queing up (shows how long we queued) Next, time to watch SHREK 4d! On the way to lunch! Ate at the chinese restaurant in USS. I tell you DON'T ever go there. We spent $120 in total for lunch (6 people), and the food SUCKED. Pictures taken while walking our fats off after the terrible lunch. Going into candy empire. Haha! how ironic to walk your fats off and then step into a candy shop~ Oh and we spent like $40++ inside O: 心痛啊! ohh look!!! I spotted this in USS!!! See, gateway exists even in theme parks :DDD GATEWAY = AWESOME Feasting on popcorn while queing~~~ More randomness while queing! Didn't bother uploading the rest HAHAS. LOOKIE! Kiddy dino ride~ :D Look at the incredible number of ppl queing O.O Entering jurassic park, BEWARE! hahas watching the jurassic park show. Not bad, quite cool! But prefered the 4d shrek ((: So sad can't take pics of the inside.. Queing up for this ride, EXCITING! ^-^ mmmm so hungry, time to buy some snacks! Snapping away randomly while the adults queue for food~~~ THE FOOD IS HERE. They bought turkey drumstick, my gawd $10.40 per drumstick!!! O.O But look at my sis eating away bwahahahahah~ :P The sun is going down, time to go home! *sighs* what a fun and long day! :D At least this pays up for the lost of my June holidays.
